Intro to Sculptural Hand building - Paw

Service Description

Learn to sculpt in clay while using the basic skills of hand building. Students will create sculptural forms while learning the techniques of pinch, coil, slab and extruded construction methods. This course will focus on two main sculptural projects that takes students step-by-step while encouraging them to carry out their unique ideas into the clay. Surface embellishment techniques such as carving, additive, and impressed texture will be demonstrated. This course is designed for beginners and will establish a foundation of useful clay building skills.
